What are life transitions? Life transitions can be periods that involve significant changes to your lifestyle, for example, the birth of a child, moving, starting a new job, getting married, getting divorced and loss of a loved one. The global Coronavirus pandemic is a major change we are all adjusting to and can be classified as a life transition.
It has been confirmed by prior studies, that major life transitions have a strong effect on mental health. What makes transitions so challenging? Life transitions represent a change from what we are accustomed to and bring feelings of uncertainty, unpredictability and often things just feel unstable.
