Clinical Mental Health Specialization

As a registered social worker, I provide therapy to individuals, couples, and families, addressing a wide range of concerns including divorce, separation, trauma, grief, domestic violence, co-parenting, substance use, school refusal, eating disorders, and mental health challenges such as anxiety and depression. I specialize in couples therapy, helping partners enhance communication, build mutual respect, and gain a deeper understanding of each other’s needs. Additionally, I support individuals facing fertility challenges and women navigating prenatal and postpartum depression.

Years in Practice

With over 15 years of experience in counseling, I have guided countless clients on their journeys toward growth and healing. I earned my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University, and my practice is rooted in empathy and personalized care.

Therapeutic Approaches

I take an integrative, client-centered approach to therapy, drawing from a range of evidence-based modalities. My training includes The Gottman Method, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Narrative Therapy, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Mindfulness. Additionally, I hold certifications in Trauma Counseling and Collaborative Problem Solving, allowing me to tailor my approach to meet each client’s unique needs.
