Clinical Mental Health Specialization
As a Registered Psychotherapist, I am honored to create a safe and supportive space where individuals and couples can navigate their struggles and find a path toward healing. My passion lies in understanding each client’s unique journey and providing strategies to foster resilience, growth, and effective coping during challenging times. Life’s unexpected events can bring stress, isolation, and pain, but together we can work toward renewal and strength.
Years in Practice
With extensive experience in the field, I have had the privilege of working with individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds, including BIPOC communities, South Asian communities, and teenagers or young adults transitioning to post-secondary education. My work has been deeply informed by my commitment to inclusivity and understanding cultural contexts in mental health care.
Therapeutic Approaches
I use an integrative, holistic, and client-centered approach to therapy, drawing on methods such as Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Gottman, and Psychodynamic Therapy. This flexible framework allows me to tailor my approach to address a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, intergenerational trauma, self-esteem, stress, chronic pain, crisis intervention, and more.
